My Story
Growing up in Western Pennsylvania, I always had an interest in construction and home renovations. During junior high school, I spent summers working for my brother’s construction company doing renovations and also worked doing roof work and framing. Through this early experience, I learned the meaning of hard work and developed the ability to simply talk to people and clients. In 9th grade, I was accepted into a pilot program allowing me to start technical school a year early.
I had a brief change of heart and decided to give the restaurant industry a try. After several years in fine dining establishments, working my way up from dishwasher to sous chef, I returned to residential construction in 2004. I’ve had my own business since 2004, seeking out the best craftsmen I could find to work with while honing my skills as a subcontractor for a large custom builder in the Downeast area of Maine.
In 2015, after having my second daughter, I moved our family to the southern Maine area for better opportunities and close proximity to Boston. That’s where I call home for good now. I have two beautiful daughters that I consider to be my finest project.
Personal Interests
In my spare time, I enjoy:
- Mountain hiking – I’ve hiked 24 peaks at or above 4,000′ in Maine and New Hampshire
- Hockey – As a family, the girls and I enjoy Maine Mariners and Boston Bruins games
- Archery hunting – We have a passion for archery hunting whitetail deer
- Freshwater fishing – Another family passion we enjoy together
- ATV riding – We can be found on weekends enjoying family ATV rides
- Lake exploration – Exploring the many local lakes in our area
